Investing.com – Bitcoin rose above the $11,001.0 threshold on Sunday. Bitcoin was trading at 11,001.0 by 18:50 (22:50 GMT) on the Investing.com Index, up 1.62% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage gain since August 4.
The move upwards pushed Bitcoin’s market cap up to $196.2B, or 66.56% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Bitcoin’s market cap was $241.2B.
Bitcoin had traded in a range of $10,568.8 to $11,001.5 in the previous twenty-four hours.
Over the past seven days, Bitcoin has seen a rise in value, as it gained 14.91%. The volume of Bitcoin traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was $16.0B or 33.32% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $9,483.0127 to $11,001.5420 in the past 7 days.
At its current price, Bitcoin is still down 44.64% from its all-time high of $19,870.62 set on December 17, 2017.

Ethereum’s market cap was last at $23.9B or 8.10% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while XRP’s market cap totaled $13.7B or 4.66% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
