Investing.com – Bitcoin fell bellow the $6,797.0 level on Monday. Bitcoin was trading at 6,797.0 by 20:38 (01:38 GMT) on the Investing.com Index, down 6.90% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage loss since October 23.
The move downwards pushed Bitcoin’s market cap down to $125.9B, or 64.99% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Bitcoin’s market cap was $241.2B.
Bitcoin had traded in a range of $6,796.6 to $6,955.3 in the previous twenty-four hours.
Over the past seven days, Bitcoin has seen a drop in value, as it lost 18.89%. The volume of Bitcoin traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was $34.4B or 36.18% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $6,796.2700 to $8,245.6152 in the past 7 days.
At its current price, Bitcoin is still down 65.79% from its all-time high of $19,870.62 set on December 17, 2017.

Ethereum was last at $138.82 on the Investing.com Index, down 9.05% on the day.
XRP was trading at $0.21326 on the Investing.com Index, a loss of 7.99%.
Ethereum’s market cap was last at $15.5B or 7.99% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while XRP’s market cap totaled $9.6B or 4.97% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
