Anthony Pompliano Urged Trump To Compete With China For Bitcoins
The co-founder of Morgan Creek Digital Anthony Pompliano finds a way to draw the attention of US President Donald Trump to Bitcoin through his confrontation with China.
Someone tell President @realDonaldTrump that there are only 21 million Bitcoin and China is planning to buy them all.
This is going to be the real US – China competition.
That should get him to pay attention.
The guy hates losing and will try to buy them all😂🙈

Donald Trump previously said that he is “not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies, which are not money, and whose value is highly volatile and based on thin air.” He noted the high volatility of digital assets and the possibility of using them in illegal activities.
The US president was skeptical about projects like Facebook’s Libra, stressing that in the US there is “only one real currency – the US dollar.”
Last week, President Xi Jinping announced the importance of introducing blockchain into the economy and China’s ability to become a leader in this technology. Pompliano believes that the United States must accept the challenge and implement technology, including Bitcoin.
BREAKING: Chinese President Xi Jinping just publicly supported China going all-in on blockchain technology across their economy.
This will be the space race of our generation.
America has to embrace the technology, including Bitcoin, or we risk being left behind.

Note, that representatives of the Chinese Internet giant Tencent called Libra a threat to the country’s largest electronic payment systems WeChat Pay and Alipay.
Recall that US lawmakers continue to study the digital currency project Facebook, and the company’s head Mark Zuckerberg assured that it will not be launched without the approval of regulators.
