At the same time, the specialist noted that the screenshot provides information about the operation and a link, through which the user can see information about the transaction on the blockchain.
Recall a scandal erupted between Changpeng Zhao and the WeChat team earlier. The reason for the latter was the announcement of CEO Binance about the possibility of acquiring cryptocurrency in a new exchange service using technical solutions of the payment system. Subsequently, representatives of WeChat denied the information, promising to ban any transactions related to the new financial instrument.
Users noted that amid the negative attitude of the payment system team towards cryptocurrencies, their involvement in the technology that underlies digital assets looks funny. However, some commentators believe that the organization’s use of DLT technology in no way compromises the company.
Recall, earlier it became known that the Tencent holding company, which owns WeChat, invested in a British blockchain startup.
