Several interesting details regarding the OneCoin Ponzi Scheme have come to light this week. It appears one of the individuals responsible for this scam is the brother of Dr. Ruja Ignatova.

People who have followed the story of OneCoin to date will know this project is anything but legitimate.

OneCoin Still Isn’t Dead

During the initial phase, it was spearheaded by Dr. Ruja Ignatova.

She later stepped down as CEO of OneCoin and was replaced by one of the other team members.

To this day, very few people know how many individuals were effectively involved in this multi-billion dollar Ponzi Scheme.

One of the suspects is Konstantin Ignatova, the brother of Ignatova. He pleaded guilty to multiple charges this week, putting another nail in the coffin of OneCOin.

Charges he pled guilty to include money laundering and fraud.

The exact scope of this Ponzi Scheme still remains unclear, primarily because no one really knows where all of the money has gone.

Despite pleading guilty, the Bulgarian organization of this scam continues to go about their day-to-day business as if nothing has happened.

The cooperation of Ignatov is crucial is bringing this Ponzi Scheme to its knees once and for all.

A sentence has not been handed down, but it is possible the OneCoin team member could serve up to 90 years in prison.

The bigger question is where Dr. Ruja Ignatova has moved to. Even her brother seems to claim she simply vanished, albeit it seems unlikely that is the whole truth.
