TRON Will Now Be Available in Samsung’s Blockchain Keystore

The TRON network has received another boost, as the blockchain will now be available in Samsung’s Blockchain Keystore. The announcement comes shortly after the project successfully upgraded its Odyssey protocol.

TRON Available in Samsung’s Blockchain Keystore

According to the company, TRON, already one of the more popular cryptocurrency projects, has been integrated with Samsung’s Blockchain Keystore. The news came as TRON’s founder, Justin Sun, prepared to appear at this week’s Samsung Developer Conference.

Thanks to the integration, developers who use the Samsung Blockchain Keystore SDK will be able to build applications that run on TRON’s blockchain. Users will be able to access the blockchain from their devices as well as the project’s other features.

“This is a remarkable milestone for TRON, and I’m thrilled to have this opportunity to work with Samsung.” says Justin Sun, Founder of TRON and CEO of BitTorrent. “We are totally in line with and will support Samsung’s vision and strategy on blockchain technology exploration.”

TRON’s Latest Developments

The announcement is the latest of many that TRON has made during the past few days.

As CryptoPotato reported, Justin Sun recently noted that TRON had successfully upgraded the Odyssey protocol. This will allow the network to become more decentralized and make it so that information will be accessible and traceable by everyone while also securing the rewards of voters under the supervision of the network.

Combined with the news that China’s president has urged further investment in blockchain-based technologies, this latest announcement caused a spike in the price of TRON’s native cryptocurrency. TRX is currently trading at around $0.19 and is back among the top 10 largest cryptocurrencies by market cap.
