Ethereum Falls 10% In Bearish Trade – Ethereum was trading at $293.14 by 20:30 (00:30 GMT) on the Index on Monday, down 10.11% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage loss since June 27.

The move downwards pushed Ethereum’s market cap down to $31.18B, or 9.86% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Ethereum’s market cap was $135.58B.

Ethereum had traded in a range of $290.24 to $294.84 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, Ethereum has seen a drop in value, as it lost 5.21%. The volume of Ethereum traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was $10.31B or 11.80% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $279.8246 to $364.8898 in the past 7 days.

At its current price, Ethereum is still down 79.40% from its all-time high of $1,423.20 set on January 13, 2018.

Elsewhere in cryptocurrency trading

Bitcoin was last at $10,982.3 on the Index, down 10.47% on the day.

XRP was trading at $0.40069 on the Index, a loss of 6.46%.

Bitcoin’s market cap was last at $194.70B or 61.56% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while XRP’s market cap totaled $16.99B or 5.37% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
