Ethereum Dips Below 288.70 Level, Down 3% – Ethereum fell bellow the $288.70 level on Monday. Ethereum was trading at 288.70 by 09:53 (13:53 GMT) on the Index, down 2.82% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage loss since June 30.

The move downwards pushed Ethereum’s market cap down to $30.72B, or 9.91% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Ethereum’s market cap was $135.58B.

Ethereum had traded in a range of $287.11 to $303.00 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, Ethereum has seen a drop in value, as it lost 6.88%. The volume of Ethereum traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was $10.10B or 11.54% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $279.8246 to $364.8898 in the past 7 days.

At its current price, Ethereum is still down 79.71% from its all-time high of $1,423.20 set on January 13, 2018.

Bitcoin was last at $10,633.2 on the Index, down 5.19% on the day.

XRP was trading at $0.39928 on the Index, a loss of 1.24%.

Bitcoin’s market cap was last at $189.55B or 61.17% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while XRP’s market cap totaled $17.00B or 5.48% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
