Bitcoin evangelist John Macafee announced about his intention to distribute 20 cards among media representatives. He wrote this in his tweet:
Next week I will be giving 20 McAfee Bitcoin Debit Cards to members of the media. You are free to keep the cards or return them. Use them anywhere. Load them directly from your smartphone wallet. Established media only please. Email:

If you are not a media representative, do not be discouraged. McAfee says the card will be ready for the public in a few weeks.
John McAfee had a tense relationship with the media. Although, this is unlikely, it is amusing to imagine that these 20 cards issued to members of “reputable” media can be part of a conspiracy. Although cast probability iInstalling spyware software on a card that allows it to access the mainstream media and send an announcement of its presidential election is still there.
It all sounds funny, but it is interesting to see if the card can get the expected success McAfee. Apparently, he simply wants to enlist the media in this way so that they write something good about him. But maybe John McAfee still cares about accepting Bitcoin.
